




The HFACT Advisory Board Meeting was held on the 21-22 of April 2026. This was an opportunity to bring members of the Advisory Board, country teams, and partners together to discuss and reflect on HFACT’s progress.
On the first day of the meeting, teams presented published and ongoing work from India, Indonesia, Brazil, South Africa, Imperial, and York. The Advisory Board members provided valuable feedback on the research and provided their perspectives on the global progress towards UHC.
The second day of the meeting primarily focused on teams reporting their progress with community engagement activities, capacity strengthening, dissemination, and research ideas. It was great to hear about the successful trainee exchanges, career advancement and fruitful engagement with global policymakers .
The meeting ended with a reflection on the success achieved so far by HFACT and the opportunities that exist for collaboration and networking beyond the project. The meeting also emphasised the importance of shared learning between countries and the Advisory Board’s contribution and commitment towards the success of HFACT.
