HFACT representatives from IEG attended the Health Research Roundtable hosted by the NIHR in New Delhi. The event was also attended by representatives from the Department of Health and Social Care, the NIHR Coordinating Centres and the British High Commission. The event focused on discussions of NIHR award successes, challenges and lessons learned, including the development of equitable partnerships, research capacity strengthening, community engagement and involvement and research impact. Discussions focused on research priorities in India.

Two early career researchers from IEG attended a follow-up NIHR Networking Lunch and Poster presentation. The event was an opportunity to meet other NIHR supported researchers in the region, present a poster on their research, and discuss development opportunities and challenges for early career researchers.
